95/96 (Soft Close) + SIMLEAD Metal Box

SIMLEAD Metal Box
1. The front fixing brackets cannot click into the metal walls when the front panel is pushed against the drawer.
Possible causes
1. The adjustment screws on the inner walls are “OFF”.
2. The joining slots are not aligned with the front fixing brackets when the front panel is being pushed in.

Solutions
1. Before pushing the front panel in, ensure the adjustment screws on the inner walls are turned to the “ON” position. (see Figure 1)
2. Ensure the front fixing brackets are aligned with the joining slots. (see Figure 2)

86 SIMLEAD Slide
1. Noisy slide operation
Possible causes
The residual sawdust from the installation interferes with the slide operation.

Solutions
Remove and clean off any sawdust or foreign object on the runners. We recommend using a vacuum cleaner, a lint-free cloth or a sponge to clean the runners.

2. VSD malfunction
Solutions
Check if the bracket of the VSD device is properly engaged with the runner on both sides. You should hear a ‘click’ sound when it is securely fastened.

Note: Please do not apply any form of lubricating oil on the VSD.

3. Push open function not working properly.
Possible causes
1. This is often due to an incorrect or inaccurate installation.

Solutions
1. Due to safety considerations, the push open factory settings of our SIMLEAD slides are set to ‘OFF’. Please ensure the red switches on the bottom of the slides are both set to ‘ON’. (see Figure 1) You should hear a ‘click’ sound when you flip the switch.

2. Ensure the gray protective clips at the front of the outer slide members are removed (see Figure 2).

3. Remove the drawer to examine the push open function of the slides individually. If they both work properly, then check if the red depth adjustment wheels at the bottom of the slides are turned to the center point with the red bumps at the center. Return the drawer to the slides to test the push open function again. If this still does not work, please check the installation guide to ensure all the measurements are right and the cabinet dimensions are accurate.

○ 97/98 (Soft Close)

85/86/97/98 SIMLEAD Under-mounted Slide
1. The drawer does not operate smoothly
Possible causes
1. The rear notch size and/or position are incorrect, making it inadequate for the rear hooks to hold the drawer in place.
2. The residual sawdust from the installation can cause an unsmooth drawer operation.

Solutions
1. Ensure the drilling diameter and position of the notches at the back of the drawer are correct.
2. Pre-drill the mounting holes before fixing the slides to minimize residual sawdust during the installation. If the sawdust has fallen onto the slides, remove and clean these off the slide members.
