Ball Bearing Slides

1.	Smoothness troubleshooting

Solutions

1.	Detach the inner rail member and check if the ball retainers in the middle rail member are in a good condition. If any ball retainer is bent or deformed, please contact our customer service.
2.	Make sure the screws are fixed correctly and the screw heads are flat.
3.	Make sure you are using flat-head screws and not round-head screws as they could interfere with the slide operation.

2.	Soft close function failure

Solutions

1.	Check the dimensions of the cabinet and the drawer: If the side space is within the reasonable tolerance of 1mm, please perform an inspection on the structural accuracy of the cabinet and the drawer. They must be in a perfect square or rectangular shape, not a diamond or trapezoid shape as this will affect the functionality of the soft close slide.
2.	Check the slide installation: Remove the drawer by pressing the release tabs on the inner rail members and pull out the drawer. Then make sure the slide members installed on both sides of the cabinet are paralleled and levelled. Perform the same check for the inner members installed on both sides of the drawer and make sure they are flush with the front drawer panel.

3.	Push open slides cannot eject properly

Possible causes

1.	The side space between the cabinet and the drawer is too small or the slide is not set against the drawer front panel.
2.	There is residual sawdust from the installation.

Solutions

Ensure that there is a sufficient gap between the front panel and the cabinet front to provide enough space to activate the push open mechanism.

•	For inset cabinets, the gap between the cabinet front and the front of the slide should be 5mm plus the thickness of the front panel.
•	For overlay cabinets, a minimum gap of 5mm is required between the cabinet front and the front panel.

Pre-drill the mounting holes before fixing the slides with the screws to minimize residual sawdust during the installation.

Remove and clean any residual sawdust on the slide members.
